Can these techs help her? Chapter 4

'I sure hope this fridge is full of the medical supplies we ordered.' Sarita Marie was in the surgery room. It was a nice color room. Not at all like a normal hospital. Since they would be doing many of the deliveries for the county, they had it made especially pleasing for those in labor. Sarita was married and had two kids. She had her sister watching the kids so she and her husband might earn enough. They had high hopes to send their two off to college when they were old enough. They were six months and two years old. Sarita had developed a need to help at a young age. She was one of 15 children in the family. She was a middle child, so she learned from the older ones how to nurture and care for others. She took over as the elder moved on. When she told them she was moving to the big city, they all cried. The kids were still in school and she knew her mama would be needing someone to help when she left to go to HouSim. They hired a retired teacher that needed a small income to supplement her social security. Sarita left knowing her brothers and sisters would get great rewards from this woman. She and her husband and children moved to HouSim and soon she landed this job.

Barlena was thirty five and had five teenagers in her house. She and her husband and begun early. It was their plan to have them all out of the house by the time the couple reached 45. This room had the best equipment needed to deliver easy to difficult births. They also had the ability to do other surgeries if the hospital needed the room. The surgeons came over and performed the procedure and then they took the patient back to the main hospital if they needed to stay overnight. She counted all the tools and checked all the cupboards. Soon this place would be full of patients and she would be working right beside the doctor and nurse. She thought of her eldest. She stood and looked out the window. She saw a red car sitting in the parking lot. She didn't think they were open yet. Then she saw who it was. Barlena went back downstairs to talk to Melinda and Millie. She had her work still to do on the computer. There was a special patient coming from out of town. She heard the doctor mention it in the van. Some lady with some special needs. She knew whatever it was, they could provide it. This room was ready for anything.

Stanley Steamer was a Physical Therapist. He was 42 and had a good plump wife at home expecting their sixth child. He was a good natured man and laughed at most every chance he could. He sailed through school with his good natured. He was sweet and kind and smart too. He decided early after seeing his mother with arthritis so severe, that he would find a job that helped that out. He went to West Simginia for schooling and made his parents proud. He came back four years later with a degree and began to work at club and bring his money home to help his parents with the rest of the family. He worked two jobs to help out any way he could. When he met his sweet Jenny it was love at first site. She was not a slim woman, but she was built with love and joy and a song in her heart. Stanley fell so deep his brother had to pick him up off the ground. Oh how he wanted her. In time he got what he wanted. Jenny fell for him just as fast. They started out with so much love, they had no option but to start filling the rooms in the house with kids to share this huge amount of love with. He sat that morning and looked over the list of people over at the hospital that were waiting for this to open. 'Well I'll be a goat's behind, that is one long list. Guess I better call and see when that convict is gonna come on by.' Stanley chuckled as he thought of a convict having to clean toilets instead of prison.
