The worst has not begun yet... Chapter 6
The early day started on a loud roar. Patty had been up early, not sure why but she just had to be up. She dressed in a comfortable dress and walked the forest trails. When the light was bright enough she went and looked into her daughters tent. The sheer volume of trash and clothing disgusted her.
'Rebbecca Bluesage, this tent is a mess. Now get up and clean it up' She turned and walked away before the screaming began.
'What makes you think that I have to have a clean tent every day? I have so much going on in my world at school and you want me to keep a clean tent? I think you have lost your common sense with this baby and I am paying the price for it.’ Birds flew out of trees at the shrill noise coming from the campsite.
Mom turned to speak to her. The utter nonsense about cleaning up a small tent infuriated her.
This began a talk that accelerated to a volume that even Bluesage could not ignore. As he stood up to come out of the tent to talk to them, he had a thought. His cards are not in the bag. He has to have them for that one client. He looked towards the girls. They seemed to be quieter, so he rummaged through his trunk to find them.

In the meantime Becca began to hit Patty. She was strong for her 13 years and full of venom from her own hormones.

You are so mean and selfish that I am so tired of listening to you. I don't need to hear you talk to me. I am old enough to listen to my own words

Patty threw her arms up to try and stop her wild daughter. Her mind worried about the baby and what this child might do to her. She had not seen such behavior ever in her life. Blue walked out just in time to see Becky shove her pregnant mother. He yelled her name and she stood straight up and looked at him.

She walked away and all of a sudden was in pain. She doubled over as her insides began what every young woman knows will happen each month. She stood, scowled at her mother and ran to the bathroom to clean up. Blue took Patty by the hand and led her over to the table. 'Sit please and let’s get this figured out. No need to yell anymore. Darling you are too close to our son’s birth to let this child rile you up. Please try and stay centered and we can work this out.' He leaned over and kissed her cheek. She looked so tired. It had been a long day. She had several bouts of nausea hit her today. A sure sign birth was soon. He even thought leaving for a few hours might not be good idea.

‘Rebbecca, come sit down with us and let’s get this straightened out.’ He could see her and wanted her to come quietly talk about her issues. Instead he heard her dragging her feet as if they were made of lead. She sat down finally and then asked her dad to get her a glass of water. She was hot and didn’t feel good. He obliged and went for one. That gave her the chance she wanted.
