Jealousy? Hormones? Magic? What is wrong with her?                   46

Patty saw red, and knew she was in trouble. This wild child had finally pushed her buttons and she was hot. ‘For your information young lady, you are just as much a special child of ours as he is. You have even become so unruly it is more difficult. But we try very hard to be nice to you.’ Becky just taunted her. She knew her mother was still weak from having had her brother.

It is not the fist that belongs to my daughter. I do not know why or care to discuss this with you any, but something is not right. This fist is not to hit someone you love. I am ashamed of your behavior. You must know this is not right.’

As Patty said this to Becky, her heart was in her throat. Her blood pressure was sky high and she was feeling light headed all of a sudden. Becky just spat ugly things out to her mother. She made it all her fault they did not have a house or she did not have a bedroom. Then she began to say things that Patty could not understand. It was not a language she understood. Then she lunged at her again and scared her mother worse.

She began to shake. The emotions were so strong, her hormones so out of whack, she was a mess: She broke down. Fighting with a teenager that has a full head of steam, against a mother barely awake is hard work. Both were exhausted in their own ways. Neither knew what the other would do next.

All of a sudden there was a whoosh and Blue was standing in front of the girls. He did not look the least bit happy. The noise startled Patty, and she looked up. Her tear stained face was evidence of the events he missed. He looked at his daughter and was alarmed. She was not in her right mind. The change over had many effects on a young mind. He turned to Patty and held her. He quietly spoke to her.

‘Darling, I want you to go to the tent. Get David and get inside. I need to do some work to Becca to move her out of this.' He looked her over, touching her face. 'She didn't hurt you did she angel?' Patty was in tears and could not speak. She shook her head and showed him her arms. The forearms were bright red, bruises soon to be there. He kissed her and hugged her tight. 'Shh, my love. My darling wife, I will take care of this. You will take our son inside and I shall repair this.'

He watched as she turned, sobbing. He then turned and looked at his wild child. She was wild all right. He took her by the arm and began to speak. 'Child of Mine, you will listen and obey me. You will come with me to your tent site. Nod if you can understand me.' She did.

He took her to the tent and then gave her a spell that would remove the memory of tonight from her. She was not able to understand what happened, and he knew it was too much for her to bear. To be striking her mother is not something their sweet girl would do. A tear slowly fell down his cheek as he finished it. He took her inside and told her to get herself ready for bed. She would sleep soundly and wake happy and joyous.

He then went to his wife sobbing by their tent. She was sobbing so hard, she could not calm herself down. David was inside, but mama was too broken hearted to go lie down yet. The sight was so dearly sweet, and so heartbreaking..

He came over and took her by the shoulder, carefully walking into their tent. Their son was sleeping soundly. He put his paperwork in the trunk. When he turned, she was watching him, sitting on the bed.

'Blue, I'm sorry.' He quickly ran over and took her in his arms. He kissed her and kept her speech out of her mouth. He wanted her to understand the love of life and not the misery. It's part of life, but he sure knows that the blessings of life out weigh the rest. He took her to a wonderful meadow where they lay in each other’s arms. The beauty and peacefulness surrounds them. The light is beautiful and comforting.

'Hmm, I'm glad you are home sage man.' She could feel the calm flowing over her body. It chilled her, but delighted her also.

'I'm glad I am too angel. Now listen, it's your turn.' He began while she was in his arms, the magic to remove the horrors of tonight from his beloved's mind. He stroked her temples and kissed her lips She was such a good mother. She knew in her heart that was not her Becky. It would tear her heart in two if she lived with this. His eyes began to leak again as he finished the spell. Bluesage loved his family so much sometimes it hurt.
