If he could not sleep, he would be up and searching the world over for clues. The instrument he used was shadowing everyone in the cunty. His special force of watering crew was good at climbing up the trees to see which flowers needed watering. 

After hours of searching, Blue would always go back to bed, disgusted.

Patty kept herself busy with cleaning and her care of David. She found the forest was in need of a clean up and she busied herself at times finding things to do. Blue watched her obsession and knew it was good for her. Eventually he would come and tell her the rocks looked very nice, now come to bed. 

Often he would find something that might help his search. Other times he would read a book.  One of his newest books was on new Magic with Children. Being sad sometimes would make her feel so tired, it was an effort to sit down. Blue would read to her sometimes from his new book. Some of the information scared Patty. Of course he was able to explain it to calm her fears.
