Will this be the reunion day or heartache? Chapter 23
The two woke in the middle of the night, with such delight in their hearts that Steven began to sing to his wife and son. She so much loved his voice. It was a delight that made her smile and so happy she found him again. Each of their lives were something to be thankful for over the centuries.
The rest of their night was so restful. Patty had been given some information to help her settle her worry inside. Steven knew what Robin had done for her. He had physic skills that impressed the sage and he knew his good friend had all good intentions for his wife. Their night was especially sweet for the couple. Their hopes and desires for a fluent future were within grasp.
She lay on her side, watching her baby, as David kicked and wiggled his little arms. He was more active this morning and it seems he felt the excitement building within the family. She gently spoke to him as he had his early snack. Blue became transfixed on the two, wide eyes, and soon heavy eye lids. Patty glanced over as her sweet husband fell to sleep.

Patty put David next to daddy and covered them up. She got dressed and went outside to clean things up. The morning was beautiful, the air cool and dry. The sky dark with the beginning of the day arising. A most perfect time she thought as she looked around her. She got busy with all she wanted done.
After it felt settled, she quietly found the right station to listen to music. As she turned the volume up, David and daddy came out to see where mama was. David was not crying, just staring at his daddy.
Patty turned and seemed puzzled. 'What's wrong dear? Do two handsome men in front of you seem too much at once?' He winked at her and made her blush.
'No Blue, I just see you are not in the same thing you went to bed in. I love what you have on hon, but why did you change?'
Steven looked down at his son. 'Well, not to tell on someone, after all he is not even two weeks old, but he threw up all over me in the tent just now.. You had just fed him twenty or so minutes prior, and he just seemed to be waiting for mama to come help him fall deep alseep. Dad came to the rescue, only to find out what he was waiting for. He was not tired, no you were not were you son?'

He picked David up and held him high. 'Now he had such a surprise for daddy. I had to clean him and I both up.' Mama laughed loud and long over that thought. Babies throwing up is a part of the fun of having one.
'Hey Blue, put that baby down and come dance with me. He should be just fine.' She had the blanket and pillows all set up so David could enjoy the world of nature without any danger. Dad was making David giggle, which was funny to hear. They played with the baby a few minutes.

He gave Patty a peck on the cheek and turned toward the pillow. 'Well come on son, mom has orders for us both.' As he began to settle him, mom came up with new orders.
'BLUE, NOT by the bag, he can grab that and pull it over himself. Over here.' He looked up at her and winked. Daddy turned to his baby son and told him a good message, 'Son, always listen to what mama says when it is about safety.' He moved the bag and the pillows and rearranged it all. After looking to be sure the baby was safe, he twisted around and jumped right in front of her.

He startled her and that made her laugh loud. The forest jumped at the sound. They moved around the area and had a delightful time as the songs kept changing. He could levitate the two of them and they danced on air. Of course there was always a watchful eye on the small one near the blue pillows.
