Will this red head turn around? Chapter 25
Last week her land lord changed the room she lived in. He added a kitchen with a nasty sink and rotting cupboards full of mouse eaten boxes. Her toilet was gross, as was all the plumbing. The rent even went up with the new facilities. She has not checked her mail yet.
All night she tossed and turned. Knowing her grandmother was looking for her hurt her. She cried herself to sleep and cried more during her sleep. Her dreams were wild and sometimes so sad she would wake and sob hard and long. She finally woke up after a hard night, only to see her dismal room was still horrible. She sat up and saw something crawling on her leg. She jumped and stood in complete shock. The room was crawling with spiders. She looked all over her body to see if she was bit. Becky shivered as a chill ran down her spine, thinking of the spiders in her bed while she slept.
'Well I was sad, until I got scared all the way awake.' She laughed and began to chase the spiders into the other room. With some quick movements, she scared them right out of her miseral room.

She closed the door and looked around her kitchen. She saw the grocery basket and the roaches that were inside it. She turned and looked in the trash for her bag of potato chips. She had not quite finished them and hoped nothing got into the bag. With much dispair, she saw it was torn in two, and nothing was there.
'Why does this happen each time I really am hungry?' She threw the bag back into the trash. Turning around, she saw the basket on the box. The basket had apples and oranges that her friend Sally had given her. Thinking of Sally made her feel happier.
She walked over to find that the bugs didn't seem to like the fruit, so she tried to eat an apple, only to discover Inside of it was a worm.
Becky freaked and spit it out. She ran to the bathroom and leaned over the gross toilet, vomiting for a few minutes. Becky felt very weak and lay back down on her bed. As she fell onto her bed, the dust from the mattress floated back down over her as she tried to center herself.

Becky lay there for some time. Then she remembered she had to get up. As she dressed she thought about her reasons for wanting to be on her own. Looking at the room, it was not what she wanted. As she pulled the mask on, she thought, 'Well this is the first job I have had.' She walked outside and saw the yard was full of trash. Her area of town had drunks often at night. She looked around and then at her costume. It dawned on her all of a sudden, 'Oh no not today. I have to be Blue.' She walked in all down in her mood once more.

'These boxes just keep falling over.' Her anger was at it's height and then she realized she had to stop or she would never get it right. Her father's voice was inside, 'Settle down and Center Now Girl'
She sat on the floor and tried and could not quite get ready. As she sat, she heard an engine roar. All of a sudden her heart jumped out of her chest. HER RIDE!

Becky took off running in her blue suit. The driver saw her and sped faster down the road. He hated to pick up these kids and refused. He changed his paperwork so no one knew he left many without rides.
Two drunks slept comfortably by the pond. No one seemed to notice them.
Becky ran as hard as she could, but with no luck. She stopped and bent over to try and catch her breath. How she hated that driver, yet she alsoknew hating brought about ugly. Her father's voice was in her head all the time. She stood and saw by the light in the sky, that she was going to late if she did not hurry.
