I love it when we're crusin' together..   Chapter 33                                       

Before the day began, he lay next to his wife. Their young son was fast asleep. As she rolled onto her back, she took a deep breath. 'Oh this is going to be a busy day today.' 

"Patty, my only one. I have good news for our future. It came in an email last night. I was offered a job that I could not refuse. I`m gonna take it !!" 

"Really? Is it in the field you wanted Blue? I know how you hated the idea of working in a factory, did a college need you?" She lay on her side, hand supporting her head.

"Well, dearest, you knew that I had worked in Europe and Great Britain for quite a while. What happened was that a friend talked to a friend. I have always had a good reputation and now they`re serious about courting me as their new Teacher of Metaphysics." 

 "Who is?"

"The good people of Miskatonic University. It`s an old, respected school on the Northeast coast. The people in the city of Arkham will be glad to see us. Patty, They`re offering me a full Professorship, since the last one disappeared. We`ll be given a home on University property. 

She sat up with such a delightful feeling all over. She hugged him tightly and knew the blessings were becoming known.  

Bluesage hugged her closely and whispered to her. "We`ll be Solvent!"  

'Let's wear our clothes from yesterday to pack up things, then we can shower. We don't need to dirty more clothes.'

They stood looking at Becky's stuff. It was orderly and compact, yet quite a load. 

'I think they will have to put some of those smaller items in boxes, the movers will take care of that.

 'Oh, I hear David. Let's go see what he wants. ' 

Becky had been playing with him, yet his hunger took over his fun. She was off to take a shower and change clothes. Mom and dad just had to look over their few boxes. 'I sure hope I didn't forget anything and pack it up.' She laughed as she turned to pick up her sleeping son.

The tent was empty, and ready to take down.  'My lady, if you need it I shall find it. Let Becky hold the baby. We need a nice long hot shower before we move onward with this day. Becky quickly took her brother and began to make high pitched baby noises. David responded with kicking feet and waving hands.

'Mom I'm thirsty and I'm tired. When are we leaving? Dad can I take my violin on the airplane? Will I get to sit by myself or do I have to sit in a booster seat, like a kid?' Becky was chattering as she walked around her stuff. Mom and baby had to sit and rest while dad checked the packages.   

'Girls, we must eat. Look here, I have leaves that have turned to gold. Let's make some sandwiches.' Quickly they all got their food ready. Plates and drinks all set for the family to enjoy.
