I say to myself I'm such a lucky guy
To have a girl like her is a dream come true
Blue woke up early. He had an idea to help his wife. The new home they bought was just what he wanted, but none of the castle had carpet. That meant lots of floor space to mop. He had watched her struggle the last week or so. Between taking care of the baby and trying to keep the castle floor clean, he knew he had to help.
Bluesage washed all the upstairs floors. It became daylight and Patty and David were up and caught him in the kitchen. ‘Steven Leslie, what are you doing with my mop sir?’ She has a smile on her face, and delight in her eyes. ‘Why my precious wife, I have been dancing around this place with this skinny gal right here.’ He held out the mop. ‘You know though, she seems to be a bit wet around the ears.’ He smiled and she laughed out loud

‘Oh Blue it’s your humor that I think that has kept us laughing all these years.’ He walked over, bent to kiss his nursing baby, stroked her breast and smiled. ‘You Patty are the joy in our lives that keeps me smiling.’ That brought a tear to her eyes. His sweetness touched her heart every day of her life. ‘Blue, what do you want for breakfast, and where is Becky?’

He then surprised her with a breakfast she had not had in years. ‘Darling, I think we needed a change. So today we have deviled human ears and eyes.’ This was a delicacy that was hard to come by. ‘Don’t ask Patty, just enjoy the meal.’ He seemed to sense her confusion
.

Becky came downstairs and dropped her books on the floor and her snack from last night on the floor. ‘Becky, is that where it belongs young lady?’ ‘Mom I will put it away after I eat. I’m really hungry. Daddy what is that?’ It looks really good.
As the family ate, Blue took some time to give his young daughter a history lesson. ‘Beckster, the humans lived here centuries before we came. They made it a point to pickle the eyes and ears of their dead, as it was a highly nutritious way to keep their stamina up. Life was hard for them back then. The dragons at that time were highly volatile and dangerous. In time they took over the world and humans were no longer around.’ She rolled the eye around in her mouth, savoring the flavor. ‘Daddy, where did we come from then if the humans died and the dragons were all that were here.’
Patty jumped into the conversation. ‘Why Becky my darling, SimsGod took pity on the land and brought forth the very first people, Adam Ant and Eve St Éclair: Our very first people in the world. This pleased our SimsGod greatly, and soon he brought forth many people to begin our wonderful world we live in today.’ Becky listened intently, then looked over at her daddy. He winked and shook his head in agreement with what his wife had told her. It seems that even though Becky had returned, her comfortable feelings had not completely returned concerning her mother. This was a typical response from a teenage daughter, as most are deeply tied to their father first, mother second. As they mature and become mothers of their own, this bond changes.
Blue and Patty wanted to discuss with Becky something they had thought over carefully. As he placed the coffee cups on the table, he asked her to sit and talk with them. She cleared her plate off the table and sat back down.

‘Becky, mom and I understand how hard it is to be your age, giving the circumstances in the pubic school system. Honestly daughter, I feel it is lacking in very important ways that have always disturbed me. As you know we have a new life here in the east. I have many consultations that have potential. For some time now mom has worked and helped us support the family. When she was not able to work, I tried harder to make up the difference. Now angel, we want to propose to you that you stay out of the public schools. We have many reasons for this; most important of all is your education. I have so much I want you to learn, and the schools do not feel that information is helpful. Of course you know your daddy is magic, and has the ability to just stick all the information in your head.’ He stopped and looked at her. This last bit made her perk up, as if she thought he might just do that. She looked over at her mother drinking her coffee and smiling.
‘No baby, I won’t do that. I want you to learn for yourself. I want you to know how good it feels to set a goal and make it happen. So between your mother and I, we can give you an education like non other.’ He sat back and waited to see how his teenage daughter would react.
‘Becky, I know as a girl that school has the charm of social life and we do not plan on making you a reclusive type. We have plans to keep your social life up as long as your education. So do not fear that you will never see a boy again.’ Bluesage looked surprised when she said that. Patty felt his gaze and smiled. ‘Yes sage man, our daughter likes boys, or will soon enough.’
