Pillowtalk Two:
An owl hooted. The fresh night breeze blew thru the tent door.
Autumn had given the weather a slight chill and the two lovers pulled closer together. "Blue, since the day I married you, I`ve never been happier."

Steven relaxed and replied, "Dearest, You and Rebecca and David are all the world that I need."
Patty insisted. "Why are we sleeping in the tent, since we have moved to... a castle, in Becky`s words.?"
"We have slept in tents for over 13 years: I like it!. " replied Bluesage
She kissed him again. "You`ve given us all so much. This huge place and your new position."
"And so soon." he added. "This came very easily. What Benefactor could be behind it all? For some reason. I suppose it might be said that I am naturally suspicious. The Carny life will do that to a person."
"Incidentally, I couldn`t help but notice that there were bad feelings between you and Tiffany Burb. You saw her late last week. " "Oh Tiffany!" Patty exploded. "She got me banned at the Garden Club." She went on. " I was there for three days, helped everyone in sight. She was jealous of me. The Witch! I don`t know what I`ll do!" "Oh Patty, let it go. Nothing ever came of that, because we moved on to another park." Steven commented.
"You know," she continued " We`ve been here just short of ten days and we`ve only just begun. You`ve been talking to that nice Dr. Armitage at the College Library, while I`ve been roaming around our small city. "Now it`s my time to be curious, milove; What have you learned?"
"I will answer, Blue, but first you must tell me something..."
She reached up and touched his bearded face. "Bluesage, how old are you?"

Bluesage paused, then replied. "Well, you know my age; You`re my wife!"
"Yes I am your wife. Won`t you tell me your age?" "I should say that I`m 54."
"Yes, Blue, I`m sure you should say that for many reasons, but what is your real age?" "I can`t tell you that, sweetheart. Sorry."
"You can`t because you`re forbidden to, or that you don`t know?" "Patty, I`m really not sure, but even a hint at my past would befuddle you." "Also there is a danger." He went on... "I`m your wife and I think I have a right to know!"
Embarrassed momentarily, they both softened for a bit. He took her in his arms and kissed her deeply. They broke the kiss and smiled. They knew each other so well. "I will tell you all in two weeks time, dearest. I promise, but I already have misgivings, as the knowledge may eventually put you and our children at risk."
"Then I will be patient." Patty said quietly. And they slept.

Litte Miss Becky was not able to sleep. She had been in the house playing with her computer, feeding the fish, watering the flowers in the courtyard. She snuck into the fridge twice to find yummy surprises her parents made for snacks. She tried often to go peek into the tent, but they were still talking. She finally had goofed off long enough. She missed kissing her baby brother good night.
Something in her mind caught her attention and she ran outside. Becky directly went into the tent to see that David had twisted himself around the blanket and was not breathing. She was there in time to rescue him. She knew he was okay, his color was pink and his eyes and smile were bright. 'I think you just wanted me to pick you up. Well David, I found a nice bottle for you in the fridge. Let's go see if I can warm it up for you.' She had dragged his basket bed out and made sure she left it there for mom. She didn't want to startle them, but she wanted to take care of the baby for the rest of the night. They needed their own time and she was willing to give it to them.
