An hour later, Patty sits up and jumps out of bed. Her breath is quick and her mind is racing. She is in a blind panic as she races to the baby. Blue sits up and finds his glasses. ‘Patty what’s wrong honey? Did you hear something? Is David alright?’ She has checked everything. She is calmer. She turns him on his side and tucks a blanket behind him to keep him on his side. Patty strokes her baby's cheek and her heart beats faster. She loves him more each moment.

'Oh he’s fine. I don’t know. I just felt something was wrong Blue.’ She began to cry, and hid her face with her hands. He jumped out of bed, took her into his arms and rocked her while he soothed her. Something was up but he could not quite decide what it was. She was so anxious, suffering some kind of anguish. ‘Patty, come and let’s meditate awhile my wife.’ 

He set out the carpet for them and they spent time centering and finding peace. They slept as close as was comfortable and  fell deep into slumber.
