She's about all I can handle, it's too much for my brain.
If I come back and these toys are not put away, Bob I am going to, well, you know I don’t want to.’ Bob looked at his wife and smiled. ‘What did you say Betty?’ She stormed out with her basket. That man makes me so mad. I have asked him for days now. He and Tommy have made my house look like a tornado has hit my home. I am so tired of talking to him. I wanted to move to a nicer home. Would he do that? No he loves to live in a small home with the same walls and the same floors. The bathroom is leaking all the time and he is so busy trying to grow vegetables. Oh dear and the rabbits come and eat his vegetables, why does he try?

Betty looked at her watch. It was half past two. The skies were clear and the ground soaked. She stayed on the sidewalks and tried to be quiet. The long black dress she wore felt awkward. She wore pants all the time. Oh that just reminds me that I have asked him to take me to the store for new clothes. I wanted to find him some too. How long is he going to wear those damn brown overalls? I just can’t stand them.
She walked and side stepped the puddles. Her mind thought of her plan. If they were sleeping soundly enough she could slip in. She wasn’t sure where the house was but her friend had an idea. She looked at the paper and turned the corner.

Bob was so selfish. She felt her pulse rise and her breath become shallow. All these years she has begged him. They have been so many places in their lives. All she ever wanted was her own baby. She hated to baby sit and not get to keep the children. But it seems Bob would not agree. There was always something strange he thought would be a good plan for him or them both. So many times they did things she wondered why afterwards
She walked the next block and never even noticed the car drive by. Her mind was so loud inside her head. The buzzing in her ears kept her from hearing the police scanner in the car. She turned and walked to the end of the street and there on the corner she saw it. That was their house. My god it looks like a castle. What does he do for a living? She clutched the basket and walked up to the front. Her arm ached. She looked down and saw she had been holding the basket so tightly her arm was bruised. She sat it down and peered in.

Betty looked at the front door. What if it’s locked? Can I fit through the window? She then saw they were all closed. Oh of course it did rain. Then she looked around and noticed that not one drop of rain had come near this house. In fact, she looked back and saw there was no puddle on the sidewalk either. This is a weird home. Everywhere else she had been the puddles were numerous. She walked back to the front door and tried to open it. It was locked. She took out of her pocket a tool. It had been poking her in the side since she began walking. She did not feel the punctures on her leg.
She closed the door and looked to her right. A dining area she saw with a nice large room with a beautiful table and room to walk around. Her stomach acid churned as she looked left and saw a party room. She went straight ahead and saw a large courtyard. A thought crossed her mind that she had no idea where their room was. She took a glance around and took a guess. She began to run across the courtyard to get out of view quickly. Betty stopped at the doorway at the end of a long hallway. She looked down and saw a huge long wonderful kitchen. She turned to walk toward it to admire it. A noise made her turn. Listening she realized it was their room after all.
