Her love rains down on me easy as the breeze

Bluesage ran downstairs and took over. He rocked Becky and soothed her, and held Patty. It was a very tender time in the Bluesage family. He too felt tears in his eyes. Patty kissed his eyes and lips. ‘We love you so much. I know with your strength and our hope we will find him.’ Blue hugged her tight and pulled her up with him.

He sighed deeply, and began to talk quietly to them both. ‘Girls, our lives are fraught with obstacles and tests that sometimes knock us off our feet. When we do sometime lose our balance and fall flat on our face, it’s important to stand up and dust us off, rather than sink into doubt and depression. Now, who is hungry for eye jam toast?’ 

 They family sat and tried to be light hearted. It was not easy yet they found things to laugh about. ‘Do you remember how excited you were when you came home from school and found out he was born?’ Becky and dad laughed. ‘And I remember you let me feed him just last week too.’ She began to feel sad and her bottom lip quivered. 

Dad got up and hugged her tight. Then he stood and said to them. ‘Girls, you must know that we shall not ever lose our hope.’ He hugged his family tight.  

 Becky helped clean up the kitchen and then went upstairs to pound on the piano. Patty decided she needed to go back to sleep. She was exhausted. Blue tucked her in and then got online to talk to Robin.
