Becky was being led down a path in her sleep. Blue needed to help his girls be ready. Life was hard and it didn’t change anything to ignore it. His young daughter had a port to her magic side that he used ever so gently. She spoke to her daddy each time he went into that chamber.

Daddy, are you safe? Yes Becky I am. Daddy do you know where David is? Yes Becky I do. Daddy, do you work in a safe place? Becky, feel the Light, I am safe in the Light. Daddy is Greg lonely for me? Yes dear one, he loves you and will enjoy you soon. Daddy should I be scared? No ma’am do not fear, do feel Love Comfort Joy Peace. Daddy do you love mommy? Oh my darling I love your mommy as much as I love you.

She asked about the blue sky and the clouds and of course when he might return. She slept the remainder in a comfort zone unlike any that sleep with the angels.

Ah, I know it was you. I know what we talked about too daddy. I will do what I can to help mama with the days. I have been called as your faithful daughter to my knees and I heard the softly spoken magic spell. Daddy, I am ready for whatever mama needs. Our baby is safe, and I know it. You showed me how your eyes see, even if I don’t know what it was. I feel good today daddy, and I love you so. Be safe please and bring Greg home soon. I miss playing with him.

Mom was quiet but dressed in clean clothes. Becky saw the breakfast made, it was cold; it was old. She didn’t say a word to mom, just heated it up. While it was turning round and round and round the microwave table, she went to find her radio The song made her smile so big. Mom and dad loved this song and danced to it all the time. She turned the volume up and came back into the kitchen with the radio. Mom was sitting at the table with a plate. It wasn’t steaming; she was going to eat it cold.
