Chapter 26

No matter where you go..          

               I will find you,                             

if it takes a long long time..

Blue and Patty have such a deep love for one another, their strength is combined to keep them going onward. They will find her if it takes longer than they wanted. Family love holds everything together.

He lay on his side, leaning his head on his hand. She had the baby beside her, his sweet lips close to her bosom, but sleeping. How precious life is for her when they are small. His mind could remember her excitement when she found out she was pregnant for the first time. How she adored her baby girl. His heart thumped loudly. Becky was not trying to hurt her mama, yet it tore mom up having her gone. Patty slept like an angel. How he loved her.  

Patty blinked and then focused. Her smile was blinding white with happy feelings shining. 'Hi daddy.'  She sat up and pulled herself together. 'It's almost time to go isn't it Blue?' Her anxious sounds in her question were undeniable.  

He sat up and grabbed David's bag. 'I guess we could first get ready, then I will call for our ride.' He got up and slipped his shoes on. 'I have a leak  to check,' winking as he left. Patty gathered all the needs for her son, then took his clothes off to put warmer clothing on him. This woke the little guy and she had to finish dressing him first before she could settle him down with his meal.  

After he was settled, she got out of the tent to get some fresh air. She was enjoying the fresh sent of the pine trees when a sweet man dropped by. They loved the outdoors.

She walked around and cleaned up after they ate. Her humming while washing dishes told him she was hopeful.  Blue made arrangements for the air ship to come get them. There was a strict rule that newborns at home made the family not allowed to ride the air ships. Of course Blue had a trick that the operator could not detect.

'It is known that there is no such small need to tell anyone on this end that particular statment. You agree of course.' He listened to the robotic voice of the operator as he spit out the words that he was to say for the air ship to leave. The Bluesage family would get a ride to the Magic Town of their choice because the family was only two persons.

Patty walked out with a wet blouse. 'Oh look, washing dishes never fails to make me need a new shirt. When do we leave Blue?'

Blue waved his arm towards her, and she was dry. A slight jolt to make her smile was his last gift. 'Oh Blue, how nice.'

She stopped in mid stride. 'Bluesage, we can't go yet. I forgot his bag. Can you please go get it for me darling?' She looked at him with a pout on her lips. He loved her so, and kissed those pouty lips. He waved at the ship, making the operator sit quietly. He transported quickly back to the campsite to get the baby's necessary items.

In no time he was back with his loving family. She was very apprehensive about boarding the air ship. The news lately showed examples of their safety records. Blue took her by the hand, 'You bring fear to you when you feel it. So stop it.' He winked and she let it go. He lifted her and she was inside with a tiny little boy that needed his mama. She began to nurse him while the ship started off for a long trip. Her heart was racing and her breath was fast. She had to close her eyes and let it stop.

Her husband watched as she wrestled with her fear and desire to not have it. He too closed his eyes, and pushed calmer feelings for his sweet wife.  Soon  they were very high in altitude, and his ears popped. The baby began to scream and it took some time nursing him to settle his ears.
