Their ride to Clown Town was rough. Patty held David tightly and Steven held tight to them both. Her worry lines were all over her face.

‘Roughest ride I ever had to take a family on sir. I am sorry Ma’am as I see you got a little one there. Boy or girl?’ He felt compelled to talk to them for some reason he will try and reason out later. It is a common value that the balloonist doesn’t speak to the clients. He was steadfast against ever breaking the rules. Something about this family made him feel chatty.

Pattys voice was hoarse as she said, 'He is our sweet baby son.'  The man never heard her voice, as that would have alarmed a normal attendant. This was a special one that was asked to deliver them to the town of Magic.

The weather constantly changed. The clouds would be so thick the lights would come on. The next half hour it’s so bright everyone is looking for sunglasses.

‘Looks like we’re in for some bad ones the attendant said as he began to approach his landing site.

Finally they landed and Steven got them off as soon as possible. The flights were known to take off with no warnings.  As they got away from the balloon, she saw. Her bag for the baby was still on the ship. With no thought of her own safety she ran towards the ship yelling for it to come back. Bluesage quickly teleported with the baby back into the ship. He picked up the bag and came right back to his wife. She was still trying to capture the man's attention. Blue touched her shoulder, turned her around and handed her the baby. His smile told her what she knew immediately. Her magic man saved her day once more.

They walked over towards the Clown figurine. He put the baby's bags down and stood by his wife They looked at the thing, with that wild and crazed look.

He always felt magic was not frightening if you were informed properly. This idea of crazy clowns never seemed right to him. They pushed them towards young children, who are most often frightened by them.  ‘You know Patty, even when young I found them to be uncomfortable to look at.’ She was trying to soothe the baby. The difference in the air pressure bothered him slightly.

'Shh baby, mama will help you. You know Blue, I always thought they were funny. I was a clown for a little while in junior high. We went around to the nursing homes and acted silly. Blue, will you please hold him?’

They had come early to find Patio CEO. She was in town and had contacted them through Robin. She would watch David so they might have no worry while they searched for Rebecca.

He put David on his shoulder and began to show him the lights. ‘Come on Patty, let’s go find Patio so we can get busy.’ As they walked towards the garden, he began to see more and more blue and white skeletons. He began to have a bit of concern set in.

Patio was checking the cradle for blankets. She turned around in time to see Patty with her little baby.

‘Now you two I guess didn’t hear that tonight is The Blue and White Bones Night. So everywhere you go tonight will be short, tall, skinny, and fat skeletons. I don’t have any idea how you can find her in that group. Maybe you can think of something Steven. Patty tells me you are quite the magic man.’

Patty gets David ready for the time she will be busy. She opens the ice bag to check the milk bottles. A change of his diapers and she would be finished. Of course Patio and Blue were into a long detailed account of the size of Rebecca and how they might see her tonight. She lingered, looking at her sweet baby sleeping. How tender they are at this age, mama thought. Then she had to stop those two from their long discussion of blue or white costumes.

'Okay you two, I am ready maybe to leave my sweet little boy. Patio, you come here and I will show you everything.' Patio laughed and walked over so her dear friend could show her all the way to care for a baby.  Bluesage anxiously waited for his wife.

Patty kissed her baby for the tenth time and walked away with Blue.
