Who can say where the road goes,     

where the day flows, only time..

And who can say if your love grows,

as your heart chose, only time..

She kept her arm wrapped in his, but looked around. ‘Blue, do you see all these skeletons? What are we going to do?’ He stopped and turned her, looked her right in the face. She knew immediately to pay attention.

‘Patty, you are to stop, close your eyes, and think.’ He kept her hands in his, while she thought.

Her face wrinkled up and she smiled,  ‘I have a feeling that the cotton candy man might have seen her sometime, you know how she loves cotton candy.’

‘Good, let’s go talk to him.’  They walked over and introduced themselves. The man listened intently and tried to not seem as arrogant as he really was

'Listen, I will only ask this of you once more. You must please tell me if you have seen a red haired child here. This is her face.’

Blue showed a photograph to the man. The attendant had been hypnotized so he would at least listen. He would not tell them a lie, but would cooperate and tell them the truth.

‘Yes I have seen her many times since we have been here. She is always around a kid with a big red head. She is very sad. I see that before she puts on her costume. She is a hard working girl, but should go home.’

'Excellent, now you will be able to cheerfully sell your cotton candy.’  The man got up and walked over to his cart. 

As they stood talking quietly about which direction to go, a young girl on stilts almost ran them over. Patty stood and watched Blue help the young girl so she would not fall.

Patty was so busy watching that she did not notice a little blue skeleton slumping by. The man that was still hyponotized, saw the skeleton and ignored her. He knew that was probably the kid, but so what? Even though Blue was polite, the man was the type that hated to talk to anyone. Why he worked in a public environment was surprising.
