Betty tried to keep her mind off her worries, so she watered the flowers. It amused her that Bob had tried to please her with the flowers from a neighbors yard. She hoped they hand not seen him. She heard the phone ring and ran to answer. She was hoping to hear from her sister. Betty had told Dora to call her if she changed her mind and would allow her to take Homer and leave

To her surprise, it was the police. They had information that Bob was seen walking with a baby buggy. The caller had told the police that the Newbie’s did not have a baby, only a six-year-old nephew. They needed to visit the family and discuss this with them. With the rash of kidnappings country wide, the president required all stations to look into any clues. Betty explained she had to go to the store but her husband would be available to discuss this with her. She hung up and looked at him. What had he done now? Why does he have to eat all the time?
