Joe Roy Bean was one of the big headed lawyers in the community. He prided himself on getting the worse criminals off the hook. He walked up and looked at his paper. ‘Hmm, kidnappers. That is one awful breed of criminal. I wonder what kind of monsters these men are.’ He then looked at the names. He was quite taken when he saw one of the men was Betty Newbie. He saw their photos and had to laugh. These two did not look smart enough to use a credit card, let alone steal a child.
He walked in and met the Warden, seeing right off how nice the landscaping was in the windows. The two men sat on the bench and spoke of the rule with the Newbie’s. They had both become violent and they had to be watched carefully.
